Please note that a minimum charge applies for each site visit to cover the costs involved (excluding mileage, where applicable).
The £50 fee equates to 20 portable items - bookings in excess of this will simply be charged at the applicable per item rate below.
For bookings over multiple sites, the minimum charge applies to each separate site.
£2.50 per portable item, up to a total of 100 items. See below for pricing of larger bookings (>100 items) and fixed/complex items.
Portable items are those that can easily be moved by one person and that are fitted with a standard 13 amp plug (excludes microwaves & portable RCDs).
Just pay a fixed rate per portable item. Fixed/complex items are charged separately. Discounts for bookings of over 200 items (see below).

Items that are not fitted with a standard 13 amp plug (such as 110v site equipment, Commando plugs & 3-phase equipment), plus microwaves (due to the additional leakage test now required) and portable RCDs.
Items that cannot be easily moved by one person (where they are required to be in order to inspect or test), that require dismantling in order to inspect or test (such as integrated appliances) and/or that are hard-wired into the building's electrical installation (via a fused connection unit or similar).
Items that are expected to take more that 15 minutes to inspect & test shall be charged at our standard labour rates.

Prices above include a standard stick-on label applied to a suitable point on the appliance or plug.
For an additional fee, labels can be affixed to the power cable using a Kewtech Kewsnap clip-on holder (they can be reused for future testing).
Ideal for heavy duty and/or frequently used equipment where traditional labels could fall off over time.
Replacement of a standard 13 amp plug with a new black or white plastic plug and appropriate fuse.

Single phase installations comprising of one main consumer unit with multiple final circuits. Mileage charges may apply for sites more than 30 miles from our closest office (Uxbridge, Aylesbury, Banbury). Excludes the cost of any remedial work.
Covers initial inspection & associated administrative tasks - payable once per main consumer unit (sub distribution boards are charged per circuit)
Covers the costs of testing each circuit that supplies more than one point, such as a lighting or socket circuit, and any circuit supplying an EV charger.
Covers the costs of testing each circuit that supplies only one point, such as a cooker, shower or immersion heater circuit. Excludes EV charger circuits due to the additional complexity of these.
